I'm not the kind of
bencong who visits at least one of all the make up websites everyday. Well, I am not really a
bencong 'duh'. But today I randomly clicked sephora.com and found something pretty useful.
Airplane Approved Beauty.. what to pack in your sandwich bag - the very UN-environmentally friendly plastic bag that became a requirement to carry liquid in, since November 6, 2006
*yes, blame the terrorists

This AAB offers as much as 6 categories : make up, skincare, fragrance, bath & body, hair and tooth care. Of all 6 categories, I used to put at most 5 of them plus medical products *apparently still a bit too much

those are for the long distance flight though.. above 8 hours. From what I can remember, here they are:
- medical puff (it isn't liquid, but I put it in anyway just in case they ask too many questions)
- mascara
- sample of a perfume (I got this a lot when I lived in Holland), or my 30ml perfume that has bigger glass packaging (so not practical)
- hair conditioner (liquid comes in small capsules) & hair serum in a tube
- traveling toothbrush (no toothpaste.. how dumb!)
- lip conditioner
- fresh liquid mints for my breath
Lately though, I've been traveling with planes quite often, and I realize how heavy my handbag can be. So I tried to reduce the weight of my handbag, as well as reducing the content of the sandwich bag. I no longer take any haircare on the plane and I try to take things in smaller sizes. Too bad there's no sephora in Jakarta, I would be very very grateful for their minis..
